Indications for use:

The DARCO All-Purpose Boot (A.P.B.) with rocker sole is a versatile, closed-toe medical boot designed to support recovery following surgery, manage diabetic or insensitive feet, and protect post-operative dressings. Suitable for a wide range of clinical applications, it provides enhanced stability and promotes safe mobilisation during the healing process. Its universal, bi-lateral design allows it to be worn on either foot, offering a convenient and adaptable solution for patients recovering from surgery or managing foot conditions.

Featuring a rocker sole, the A.P.B.® helps offload pressure from the forefoot and heel, supporting a smooth gait and aiding in post-operative recovery. The strapless fastening system offers a secure yet pressure-free fit and can be rotated for left or right overlap, creating a truly universal appearance. A removable ankle strap adds extra support and stability.

The high upper and wide, deep opening comfortably accommodates bulky dressings, bandages, and most fibreglass casts, while the water-repellent, closed-toe design helps keep toes warm, dry, and protected in all weather conditions. It’s also compatible with the DARCO PegAssist™ insole for wound offloading and custom pressure relief.
