What a fantastic couple of days we had at the 2025 AOP Conference! A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand and attended our workshops – it was a brilliant event that brought together orthopaedic professionals from across the UK for learning, innovation and lively discussion.
The conference was a great chance to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones from the world of orthopaedics. From catching up over drinks to exchanging insights on clinical practice and innovation, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming throughout the weekend.
Showcasing New Innovations
On our exhibition stand, we proudly showcased our latest TheraCore product range, including our innovative new TheraCore material – designed for superior patient comfort, high performance, and environmental sustainability. We also presented updates to our Velfoam material used in our High Arm Sling range, and the Bounce Knee Brace, which is now available in the popular new black edition. Representing us on the stand were Katie, our Sales Manager for the Midlands and surrounding areas, and Tom, our Marketing Manager, alongside two of our Directors, Kelly and Len. The team were on hand throughout the event, proudly demonstrating our TheraCore range of orthopaedic products and engaging with attendees across the two days.
Workshop: “Back to the Future – The Future of Comfort, Performance & Sustainability in Orthopaedic Bracing”
One of the highlights for us was hosting our workshop series, Back to the Future – The Future of Comfort, Performance & Sustainability in Orthopaedic Bracing. Presented by our Managing Director, Len Lloyd, and Sales & Marketing Director, Kelly Halsall, the session explored how Beagle Orthopaedic is transforming its UK manufacturing and supply chain operations to deliver improved product performance while meeting the growing demand for sustainable healthcare solutions.
We discussed our alignment with the NHS Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Scheme and the importance of reducing carbon emissions in orthotics manufacturing – a key part of our commitment to supporting the NHS Net Zero goals.
Delegates were introduced to our new sustainable TheraCore material, designed not only to improve patient outcomes through breathability, comfort, and fit, but also to support our efforts in responsible, eco-friendly production.
We were thrilled to host five engaging workshops on the Saturday, each brimming with lively discussions and insightful questions. It was wonderful to see everyone so involved and passionate about the topic. We hope that each participant left feeling inspired, well-informed, and excited about the future of sustainable orthopaedic bracing and UK manufacturing. The energy in the room was palpable, and it was evident that there was a genuine commitment to advancing this important field. AOP Conference Highlights
The AOP Conference continues to be one of the standout events in the orthopaedic calendar, offering valuable networking opportunities and professional development. Across Saturday and Sunday, delegates enjoyed an impressive range of talks and presentations from leading voices in the field, covering diverse and engaging clinical topics.
The Saturday night gala dinner was, as always, a great success — a wonderful way to unwind, enjoy excellent food, and support charity through the evening’s raffle. It was the perfect end to a packed day of learning and connection.
