We had such an informative and exciting day for our second Spinal Educational Day!

On Friday 30th October we held our second Spinal Educational Day at the Orchard Hotel situated in the exquisite grounds of the University of Nottingham. The action-packed day included three clinical presentations and various product demonstrations of the Breg Spinal Range. The day began with clinical presentations from our guest speakers Dan D’Aquino Consultant Spinal Surgeon, Michelle Elmsley, Regional Spinal Cord Injury Clinical Lead, and Gary Bledsoe Vice President of Breg R & D finished the session by delivering an overview of the design and development process and concept of the Pinnacle and Ascend spinal range. Comprising premium breathable fabrics and easy-to-adjust features designed to support the unique anatomy of each patient, moulded support panels, strategic cut-outs and an ergonomic lacer system accommodate a variety of patient body shapes are just a few of the unparalleled features that save valuable time for clinicians without comprising patient outcomes and comfort.
We concluded the day with a full product demonstration lead by our Area Sales Manager, Andrew Padmore, and then our guests were able to try on the products and ask any further questions. The Beagle Team were able to answer any questions and demonstrate the benefits of the Breg spinal range in detail.
It was important to us as a company that along with the innovation of the product line we brought something new from an educational point of view. A smaller group would make the event more focused and intimate where we could get across the differences within the product line and discuss the benefits of this from a clinician and patient aspect. Having this time provided the opportunity to discuss some very interesting topics about working practices between a variety of disciplines and hospitals which made for a very inciteful day!
