The BioSkin OA Spiral is a lightweight, low-profile, knee brace for tibiofemoral and/or patellofemoral OA pain. Designed to Offload the medial or lateral compartment to reduce Osteoarthritis or Meniscus pain.

The OA spiral combines unloading in the tibiofemoral joint with realignment in the patellofemoral joint.

Tibiofemoral: The OA Spiral uses a three-point leverage system and a non-elastic strap to pull the knee out of Varus or Valgus and decrease pain.

Patellofemoral: Among patients with tibiofemoral OA, 91% also have radiographic patellofemoral OA. BioSkin’s Q strap has been clinically proven to decrease pain in the PF joint by supporting proper patellar alignment and increasing joint surface contact.

The lightweight hinge and thin breathable materials yield a product that is comfortable and easy to wear, even under clothing. The strap and buckle design make donning and doffing easy for patients who struggle with dexterity. The OA Spiral Brace is designed for longevity with easily replaceable hook and loop panels. The magnetic buckles allow for fast and easy application and removal after initial fitting. A compressive donning sleeve  holds the brace in place, so the user has both hands free to adjust the fit.

The OA Spiral is constructed in BioSkin’s unique proprietary Breathable, lightweight and hypoallergenic, materials that keeps the skin dry, healthful and comfortable.

The Wraparound brace is made form BioSkins proprietary 2SL fabric. The face of this soft, breathable, compressive fabric is Velcro-compatible, making the brace adjustable to fit nearly any leg.

Wraparound: The entire front panel is hook and loop compatible, making it easy to achieve a perfect fit on virtually any leg. A great option for patients with limited flexibility or hand strength. The adjustable sizing allows for considerable adjustability in fit, accommodating larger thighs and calves.
