The Hallux Valgus Splint is constructed from Bioprene material which contains an AEGIS Microbe Shield® Anti-bacterial coating, making it a long lasting protection against bacterial build-up. Bioprene is ideal when the product is worn continuously for extended periods.
The breathable material provides compression for full contact support, the hook and loop straps make it very easy to don and doff and the abduction strap for the first metatarsal joint (Great Toe) supports the toe alignment. The splint contains a removable aluminium support stay for corrective positioning.
The brace can be worn postoperatively or as a night resting splint.
Bioprene Properties: Breathable, comfortable and soft to touch, enhances ventilation, treated with an AEGIS Microbe shield, keeps skin cool and dry, eliminates odours.
