The Humeral Extended Fracture Brace from Orthomerica is a functional orthosis indicated for closed diaphyseal fractures. The brace restricts shoulder movement and provides stability to the arm, reducing pain and aiding recovery.
The shoulder cap design limits distal brace migration giving greater protection and compliance. Provides stabilisation to the shoulder from the integral shoulder cap, the adjustable straps go across the body to ensure that compression is maintained. The adjustable hook and loop straps maintain the desired compression.
Constructed from a low-density Polyethene, the brace can be trimmed to provide an optimum fit and allow for a range of motion in the elbow. The brace is lined with closed cell foam that won’t absorb moisture to ensure hygiene and comfort is maintained. The lightweight design makes it comfortable and easy to wear.
