The Ilizarov & Ex-Fix frame cover is manufactured in the UK by Beagle Manufacturing and made from breathable cotton to ensure that the air can still circulate around the pin sites to avoid infection when using an external fixator.
When using an external fixator, the Ilizarov & Ex-Fix frame cover will help keep the leg and frame clean, pin site infections to a minimum and maintain warmth. The cover offers a more discreet option and keeps dirt, dust and pet hair off the pin sites. Its main feature is to help prevent pin site infections and protect clothing, bedsheets etc.
The cover is totally unique and provides an option for a long-standing unmet need. Developed in partnership with Trauma & Orthopaedic nurses, the Ilizarov & Ex-Fix Frame Cover has been met with nothing but positive feedback from staff and patients throughout UK hospitals.
The Ilizarov & Ex-Fix Frame Cover is available in 4 standard sizes but can also be ordered made-to-measure and in a vast array of colours and patterns for both adults & paediatrics.
To order a pattern, please contact customer services using the codes in the size guide and specify the pattern required from the Pattern Swatch Sheet when ordering.
To order a made-to-measure size, please contact customer services using code ILFC/CTM and state the circumference of the frame and length along with the colour or pattern.
