The Newport 3 uses a unique patented disc technology adjusts easily for hip development. The pelvic section of the Newport® 3 can be rapidly adjusted for both hip circumference and hip development while the patient is wearing the orthosis.
The unique pivotal design allows components to move freely during the fitting process. Once the optimum position has been determined, the components are locked into place by tightening the two locking discs. There is a long trochanteric extension on the involved side. A side release click and close fastener for easy donning and doffing. Adjustments for abduction, adduction, flexion and extension.
