The paediatric Thumb Spica is made from a single-weave elastic material. The elastic material provides gentle compression and support to the wrist for added reassurance. The elastic conforms to the shape of the user for an improved fit and comfort, as the elastic retains heat to soothe painful joints and improve circulation.

The Thumb Spica is designed with a wrist and thumb strap hook and loop fastening system. The brace features a flexible metal thumb spoon which provides additional support to relieve pain and help protect the thumb. The thumb is maintained in a neutral position to allow full use of the hand.

Elastic Properties: Breathable, lightweight, provides gentle compression and support for added reassurance, conforms to the shape of the user.

The colour is dependant on the size:

• PS2 – Red
• PS3 – Green

• CMC ligament sprains and strains
