The Sporlastic Neuro-Lux® II is a functional orthosis for stabilising the shoulder joint in cases of flaccid paralyses after stroke.
The brace helps to stabilise the shoulder joint while offering improved repositioning of the joint, correcting shoulder subluxation and medial rotation through optimised traction and intimate fit.
The brace enables the repositioning of the humeral head in the shoulder socket, reducing pain and preventing secondary damage to the articular capsule, tendons, muscles or nerves and helps to prevent shoulder-hand syndrome. Constructed in a soft and breathable material designed to have freedom of movement.
The brace offers improved repositioning of joint (humerus) whilst correcting subluxation and inner rotation and stabilisation of shoulder joint. The two lifting strings: are cross-joints, dynamic for resetting force with the outward rotation on the shoulder joint. The Breast belt allows simple handling by closing and opening. The shoulder cap is made from thermoplastic material providing active correction and an optimal fit.
