The Supra-Lite™ AFO from Orthomerica is a comfortable, low profile and pre-fabricated Leaf Spring design to correct flaccid foot drop. The AFO has been specifically designed for patients weighing under 80kg allowing for a more economical design.

Manufacturing the AFO’s from an injection moulded polypropylene allows for different thicknesses throughout the orthosis. The AFO is designed thicker on the vertical aspect for rigidity and thinner on the footplate for ease of trimming, comfort and flexibility.

The AFO can be heat modified for minor fitting adjustments for an individual fit and the special heel cut-out accommodates a wide range of sizes. A dorsum strap is included, it enables accurate and secure positioning. Removable/washable soft laminate calf padding is included for improved comfort and hygiene.

• Flaccid foot drop with spasticity
