The Ex-Fix Dynamic Resting Splint is manufactured by Beagle Orthopaedic Custom Fabrication in partnership with specialised clinicians. Constructed from a Closed-cell foam that can be removed for cleaning.

An innovative user-friendly foot and ankle splint for use with external fixators. The splint protects the plantar surface of the foot and the posterior aspect of the calcaneus from pressure sores and prevents a limited range of internal and external rotation. The ankle joint is maintained at a 90° position and the foot and ankle in the required position to prevent joints and muscles from contracting for ease of mobilisation.

The adjustable attachment straps allow the splint to be used in conjunction with any external fixator and all fastenings are fully adjustable. The addition of a large pressure dissipation pad on the long heel strap elevates pressure.
